About

Background

A Journey Rooted in Purpose
Over twenty years ago, I moved to the Southwest for my first public health job. Living among the Navajo (Diné) people beneath the Chuska Mountains near Canyon de Chelly, I quickly fell in love with the vast landscape, discovered trail running, and was deeply inspired by the fortitude and generosity of the community that welcomed me.

Where Passion and Impact Meet
My work centered around grants, and I soon realized their transformative power. When communities have the resources they need, personal drive and collective vision awaken in profound and lasting ways. These impacts ripple far beyond new facilities or programs—reaching into the homes, hearts, and futures of those who made them possible.

A Competitive Spirit, A Collaborative Heart
The year I launched my consulting business, I also won my age division at the World Masters Mountain Running Championships in Slovakia. Success at that level demands a mindset of resilience, strategic focus, and a relentless commitment to going the distance—qualities I bring to every grant project I take on.

Helping You Go the Distance
I am passionate about giving my clients the strongest possible chance to secure funding that enables them to go the distance for those they serve. Through careful planning, strategic collaboration, and unwavering dedication, our collective efforts have resulted in competitive awards from a wide range of federal, state, foundation, and private sources.
